First Car Accident

So before last wednesday morning I used to be able to say "Ive never had a ticket, never been pulled over, I am a good driver." Well that has changed a little. I still have never had a ticket, never been given a ticket and I am a good SAFE driver! However Wednesday morning at about 9:30 I got hit by car. I was on my way home from a dentist appointment and was just going along when out of nowhere a car pulled out in front of me and side swiped my entire left side. I was going east and she turned to go east and just took me out on her way. Im fine but my may be a different story. The thing is that when I was trying to get out of the ladies way, or to avoid her hitting me, i jumped a curb and that may have tore the axel up. I have no idea what an axel is but thats what the towing guy said and thats whay dad said. So for now SHMDLY will sleep at the junk yard. Thankfully there were 2 witnesses that said they saw the whole thing and in no way, shape or form was it my fault. If I hadnt had done what I did, the accident would have been a lot worse. Because she hit my side the air bags did not deploy but it was still very scary. If there was anything funny about the whole situation it was the fact that I had just come back from the dentist. I had to have novicane so my mouth was a little "lazy" and everyone thought I had hurt my mouth. I just kept saying "no no I just came back from the dentist!!" So for now all we can do is wait for the insurance companies to duke this out and see what happens with SHMDLY (SHMDLY is my cars name by the way. It stands for See How Much Dad Loves You. Its my liscense plate).

Feeling Bad

So I am starting to feel bad about not blogging. Not that my life is so interesting and exciting but I look at others blogs and they are just so darn cute with their regular posts. So Im going to try really hard to post on a regular basis from now on. Well as my own little update I just finished my junior year of highschool and am going to be a senior next year. Im actually doing a dual credit program with the local college here. Im going to be taking a biology class at the college in the morning and then just go to my higschool after that class is over. So I wont have a 1st and 2nd hour class my last year of highschool. The good thing about this DC program is it gives me both hischool and college credits. So when I finish the semester of bio i will have earned 4 college credits!!(: Not exactly a dent in what I need to graduate college but its a start and more than some have. Other than that I really dont have alot going on right now. Its pretty boring here. But I sure do love it(:

Lame??

Is it lame that I went to the Justin Bieber movie with some friends and we all have a crush?! We were talking about it too and we arent sure if we like him because he is cute or because his personality is so cute. I know its sad to say that three 17 year olds have a huge crush on Justin Bieber but if its lame then we dont want to be cool!!! (:

HollyWood

This week at school is our homecoming week. Its a very big deal here. When I moved here I have to say that I was a little afraid of it but now I absolutely love it! We get out of 50% of our classes and work on these things called wall decks. What they are are this huge posters that each class makes. They cover a whole wall... aka... wall decks. Each year the dance has a theme, and there year it is hollywood. The whole week we have different themed days too. For example Tuesday was p.j. day and Wednesday was class color day, today is Hollywood day and tomorrow will be school spirit day. I have heard of school spirit week but never anything like this. Its a tradition here though! and im not complaining! But the main reason that I am writing this post is for my aunt Amber and my Grandma so hopefully they will check out my blog! For hollywood day I wore my scrubs! I am doctor Izzy Stevens from Greys anatomy! I just wanted to let you know that my scrubs are going to good use!!!

Hi Again

Hi! So I had a really weird dream last night about my blog for some reason last night. So I decided to get on and I guess its been over a year since I've posted on here. How sad is that?? After everything happened in 09 I guess I just kinda stopped blogging. Im so sorry! Thanks for not deleting me off of your blogs for anyone who reads this.(: I appreciate it. But anyway... I really have no idea what to write on here now. Um... Well Im 17 now and am a junior in high school and still live in Deland with my Dad. Sara moved out with us and she is now13 almost 14 and in 7th grade. Seems crazy huh?? Sara is doing volleyball and I must say she is actually really good. She made varsity 8th grade team and she is only in 7th grade. True... at Deland- Weldon that does not seem like a huge accomplishment but we are proud of her(: I did cheerleading again this year and its been so much fun. We have gone to 2 different competitions this year. We havent actually placed but we havent come in dead last. So again... for Deland- Weldon thats really good. Im trying to think of anything else that might be good news. um... oh! I got a new car in April. Its a white 2009 Ford Focus and I absolutely love! It has leather seats and butt warmers, and a sky window and there are these lights in the cup holders and by your feet that change colors! I have them set on pink right now. I cant really think of anything else that might be interesting to anyone. Oh but I do have a question! How do you change the color of things on here?? It seems to have changed since I have been on here last.

Here is to 2009

This past year has been a whirlwind. So many things have happened. Some good things and some bad things. Here is a small list of the positive milestones that have happened in my life.

• CAR (not a new car but its still a car. Im not complaning.)!!!!!
• CHEERLEADING!!!!!
• BECOMING LAUREL PRESIDENT!!!!!

I know that most of those things are not very exciting but I feel like they are leading up to things that will become exciting. haha... as weird as that sounds thats how I feel. I just want to thank everyone that is reading this and everyone that is not reading this; thank you for putting up with me this year. I love you all! Hello 2010!

Movies

This morning we got moving pretty fast. We had to be in to champaign to go to the movies. My cousin Maloy and sara went to go see the new avatar movie. Im not really into that. So... I went and saw the new Princess and the Frog movie. It was really cute. My other cousin Halle went with me. So about a minute into the movie I look over and see some friendly faces. It was a family that is in my ward. There last name is Bednar. Starting to see where I am going with this? haha... Elder Bednar was in the same movie theater that I was in! Im totally serious it went in this order. 3 little girls, Brother Bednar, Sister Bednar, Sister Bednar and Elder Bednar. I about jumped out of my seat! Haha... after the movie I went and talked for a few minutes. Well I only shook his hand and introduced my self. It was really cool. But you never know how could be in the same movie theater with you. : )
